John Stebbins Regional Vice President

Responsibilities
As Regional Vice President, John oversees all operations in the Western United States. He also assists in business development.

Background
John experience comes directly from operations of restaurants, private clubs, daily fee golf courses, multi-unit management and human resources. His initial entry to the hospitality business was with the California-based Rusty Pelican restaurant chain. After moving into the private club management business, he spent 15 years with ClubCorp, both domestically and internationally, leading teams in new development, acquisitions and redevelopment projects. During his long and varied career, he specialized in membership development, member satisfaction analysis, revenue growth, internal controls, staffing strategies, training, labor laws, as well as designing performance-driven compensation and training programs for club managers, department heads and line staff. He has served in such diverse positions as Club General Manager, Regional F&B Director, VP of Global People Strategy (human resources).

Education
John graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science degree where he was a member of the Order of Omega Honor Society and served as Inter-Fraternity Council President and Fraternity President.

Professional Involvement
John has been called upon as a speaker by numerous professional and trade organizations and has served as a lecturer in Labor Relations at South Coast Community College in California. He is a current member of the National Club Association and the National Golf Course Owners Association.

Personal
John and his wife, Jill, live in Phoenix, Arizona. They have two daughters - Jessica and Brittny.
